Market Order

  • Execution: Immediate.
  • Price: Best available price from the oracle.
  • Slippage: Subject to slippage protection (default 1%).
  • Use Case: When you need to enter or exit a position now.

Limit Order

  • Execution: Deferred. Triggers when Oracle Price reaches Limit Price.
  • Price: Guaranteed to be at or better than your Limit Price.
  • Use Case: Entering at a specific pullback level or setting a profit target.

Stop Loss / Take Profit

These are conditional triggers attached to your position.
  • Take Profit: Closest equivalent to a Limit Sell (for Longs).
  • Stop Loss: Triggers a Market Close when the price hits the loss threshold.
Limit orders and TP/SL triggers are monitored by our Keeper network. When the price condition is met, a Keeper executes the transaction onchain.
